Nexus provides a way for people to organise events between mutual friends. We aim to foster safety through a chain of trust: you get invited by someone that trusts you and in turn, you invite other people whom you trust.

When someone invites you to an event, only accept the invitation if you know that person. If unsure, reach out to them or stay on the side of caution and decline the invitation.

The reason for this limit is to avoid cliques forming at the event. (i.e. large groups of existing friends spend the whole time with each other, without meeting new people.)

By restricting each person to just 2-3 invitations, we end up with the following situation:

1. Most people at the event will be new to you, increasing your chances of making new friends.

2. You're guaranteed to know a few people there thanks to the invitations - people who you'll already feel comfortable around and who can introduce you to some of the others!

Here are some things you can try:

If you still can't access it, contact nexus.beta.help@gmail.com for support.

Go to your event page. First, make sure to send your invite codes to your friends. After that, it's up to your friends to accept the invitations and to invite more people to the event. To see who's coming, click the "Attendees" button. It may be a good idea to message your friends to remind them about the event. Ask them to do the same with their invitees, and so on.

Unfortunately the app is still in the early stages of development, so there is no built-in messaging feature and no push notifications.

However, you can still edit your event details at any time via your event page. Users will not automatically be notified of this change, so we recommend that you contact your two invitees directly and ask them to pass on the message to their invitees and so on.

Please use the "Contact us" button below to email us with the problem you're facing. Be as descriptive as you can and we'll aim to get back to you as soon as we can.
